This picture was published on the front page of the Daily Hamshire Gazette, the local newspaper of Northamptom, MA,
on February 25, 1994.

While I was studying in Massachusetts, I used to ride my unicycle every time we had a snow storm. One time, while the university was closed (because of a snow storm), I was riding around and some guy started taking pictures of me.
The next day I made the headlines.

It read: Javier Ruiz, a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts, rides his unicycle back to his dorm room Wednesday no North Pleasant Street on the UMass campus. Ruiz has done competitive unicycling in his home island of Puerto Rico.
